About the PCNA:

i. To promote the establishment of community networks in British Columbia.

ii. To provide support for existing community-based technology initiatives within British Columbia and the Yukon such as community networks, community-based technology centers, learning networks and other such initiatives as the board may decide from time to time.

iii. To educate for equitable access to electronic information and network services for British Columbia.

iv. To facilitate public education and awareness of the issues surrounding access to information and network services in British Columbia and the Yukon.

v. To educate municipal, provincial, federal governments and other public or corporate organizations regarding community networks within British Columbia and the Yukon.

The PCNA a volunteer board of 4 Directors who live in various locations around BC within the PCNA delivery area.

  • Board member of BC Technology for Learning Society

  • Delivered the Youth Initiative in the Pacific Region since 1994
  • Coordinated and hosted 10-plus years of ICT Summits in BC
